No Show

A quick call to Jim Carrey's publicist, and we got the goods. Up to this point in time, Jim Carrey has not been asked by the AMPAS to appear and/or present at this year's Academy Awards ceremony. In fact, up to now, Carrey's not even going to attend the ceremony.
A sliver of sorry news to Carreyholics hoping that Carrey's presence would bring a ray of sunshine to the fact that Jim's brilliant performance in the film "The Majestic" was snubbed by the AMPAS for a nomination in the "Best Actor" category. To date, this has been the third time that Jim has been possibly notoriously missing from this honor. (The other two times were for lead performances in "The Truman Show" and "Man on the Moon" - both of which earned him Golden Globes.)
