Jeff Daniels Would Work With Jim Carrey Again

Jeff Daniels is an amazing actor. He has done amazing projects like the TV series "The Newsroom" and of course the movies "Dumb and Dumber" and "Dumb and Dumber To". His talent expands from comedy to drama like no other.
Recently, he joined Maura Tierney - who also starred with Jim in the movie "Liar Liar" - to promote the second season of crime drama "American Rust: Broken" from Amazon Prime Video.
During the interview they both were asked about "the idea of working with Carrey on a serious project since both have already starred in comedies with him." Jim has been retired from acting but the answer from Jeff came without a blink:
"We're still good friends. I still hear from him occasionally, but I don't know how interested Jim is in acting anymore."
"He's painting and sculpting, right?" Tierney asked Daniels.
"He's painting and I told him, 'You're painting. Just do that!' You don't have to [act]. Just do that!' He seemed at least for a while to be very happy, but if Jim called and wanted to do something, I'd be listening, that's for sure." - Jeff replied.
It's so good to know Jeff would work with him again. And we would love to watch no matter what they do.
