Kidding - Jim on Mr. Jeff Pickles Video
29 Jul 2018

By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)

We gotta say - September 9th couldn't come sooner! That's when the Showtime TV show "Kidding" will premiere and the more footage we see of this show, the more excited we are to see it. Yesterday, Showtime released a new clip that features both new footage and an interview with Jim Carrey where he introduce us to Mr. Pickles, the character Jim will be playing in the show.

You can see him singing in the talk show 'Conan' and also singing on the character's set, as well as several parts of scenes, including one that show Jim with a shave head to help a kid, in a hospital, feel better.

This is what Jim Carrey say about his character:

"Jeff Pickles has raised everybody's kids for 30 years and, uh, he's reached out through the medium of television to love. Jeff looks at the world in a very idealistic way, not unlike Mr Rogers.

He just goes the whole gamut from absolute desperation and anger and loss to just pure joy and fun and light heartedness. He's last hope of humanity, he's the part of us that were hoping never dies.

I think he's an example of someone who's going to suffer a terrible, terrible loss, and at the end of it all, he's going to be better and he's going to be deeper and there won't be anybody out there after all of this that he can't reach."

We can't wait! This looks so good, we are excited for it.
