"True Crimes" At The Warsaw Film Festival
04 Sep 2016 By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)
Jim Carrey began filming in November last year of Alexandros Avranas' crime thriller, "True Crimes", a movie that tells the story of a murder investigation of a slain business man who turns to clues found in an author's book about an eerily similar crime. Based on 2008 New Yorker article by David Grann.
So far only stills of the movie have surface but we're excited to find that "True Crimes" will be have its world premiere as a special screening at the Warsaw Film Festival in Poland from October 7th to 16th.
"True Crimes" is a co-production between United States, United Kingdom and Poland and it's also the first English movie from Greek director Alexandros Avranas.
Jim hasn't done many thrillers so we are excited to see the first trailer for this movie.
We at JCO will keep you updated as the news get more thrill.
