Jim Carrey As The Riddler's Father?
15 Jun 2016 By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)
We are definitely in the Golden Age of TV. So many amazing Series with even more interesting storylines and performances, have been airing in these last ten years.
"Gotham" is a TV Series that tells the story "behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival", and it features many characters known to the Batman universe, from a young Bruce, to The Penguin, etc.
But we also get to see Edward Nygma! As you probably will remember, Jim Carrey played Edward Nygma, also known as The Riddler in the 1995 Batman movie "Batman Forever". And he nailed it!
In the TV Series actor Paul Reubens, who played The Penguin's father in the 1992 Batman movie, has returned to reprise his role in the show and fellow actor Cory Michael Smith who played the future Riddler has mentioned in an interview that "I would love Jim Carrey to be my father," Smith said. "I mean, what are the chances? But I'd love it."
We are very excited to know this! After all, it would be amazing to see Jim do a mature Riddler.
What do you think? We don't know if that is a possibility but either way you look forward to the idea.
