Memorable Moment: Don Harron in 1982
13 Mar 2014

By Amanda Jayne (Web correspondent)

A fabulous early Radio Interview with our brilliant Jim Carrey at just 20 years of age. Jim is being interviewed by Don Harron, a Canadian Comedy Actor and Journalist for his program - Don Harron's Morningside.

Don starts the interview in awe of Jim's bursting repertoire of impersonations, 150 and counting at just 20 years old.

Then they both go on to describe Jim's first encounter with Don, at Don's book signing when Jim was a kid, a lovely cute story and Jimbo even then the funny little organic wit he still is today.

We then have a little background into Jim's pursuit on the road to comedy greatness and his reaction to one of his first important reviews. Funny how he expected very little in the way people viewed his amazing talent.

Then Jim gives us a brilliant compilation of impressions on celebrity childhoods and how they would have handled different childhood situations.

Fabulous early interview from a legend in the making Jim Carrey and finishes with some superb impressions from the big film of that time, "On Golden Pond" (1981).
