Just two days after the official release of "How Roland Rolls" in all bookstore of USA and Jim Carrey's inspirational story has already being praised by many.
The Gelett Burgess Foundation who’s mission "is to provide valuable information about family-friendly books and media to educators, librarians, parents and counselors who want to take an active role in their child or student’s creative development" have announce that "How Roland Rolls", is one of the recipients of the Book Of The Year Honor Award!
Tackling big concepts in picture storybooks can be a daunting task for even the most seasoned children’s book authors. What is refreshing about Jim Carrey’s inaugural effort is that every foldout page, every word, and every frenetic illustration in this unique book seem to flip tradition on edge. The author and illustrator simply get storytelling, and they go about it in their own special way. The resulting message is gentle and reassuring, and will stay with readers for years to come.
Jim Carrey has written a story for parents to read to their children so for children to learn the very important lesion that we’re all bigger than we think.
