"Survivor" update
08 Apr 2000 The recent rumor of Jim Carrey's interest in starring in Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor" may have found new fuel on a somewhat cryptic allusion the writer made during a short interview given to his official website.
"News on Survivor is Fox is negotiating with Jake Paltrow [...] to write the screenplay. [...] It's not Kevin Spacey that Fox is talking about (Kevin S was my crazy idea from a year ago), but another big-big comedy actor who's looking for darker roles..."
According to the same site, the name of Jerry Bruckheimer also continues to be mentioned along with the project, although there are no confirmations if he is interested in directing or producing it.
