09 Mar 2013 By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)
Jim Carrey has mentioned several times how much he loves music. Not surprising since in several of his movies he gives us the pleasure of earring his voice like in "The Mask" with the song "Cuban Pete", in "The Cable Guy" with "Somebody to Love" and "Yes Man" with the songs "Jumper" and "Can't Buy Me Love", not to mention the numerous talk shows he went and blessed us with his singing skills, performing to the audience, live. And if that wasn't enough he even finds songs that fit perfectly in his movies soundtracks like he did in "The Number 23" by finding the song "Tear You Apart" by She Wants Revenge.
He also writes lyrics and it's on the verge of taking it to a whole new level as Jim has shared with his fans on twitter and facebook:
Jim teamed up with the American indie rock band The Eels (who're responsible for the soundtrack of the movie "Yes Man") to record a song he wrote called "Cold Dead Hand" and according to our Jim himself, the song will be available on iTunes at the end of this month (in two weeks).
And to spice fans there's also a music video coming up too!
The mystery of what Jim has shoot for "Funny Or Die" is solve, in part, since now we know it will be the music video for Jim's song and it will be online soon.
One thing is for sure: Jim Carrey is a man of many talents and has proven to us that he definitely can sing.
And since being unpredictable is the only thing you can predict in Jim Carrey, we'll keep you post it on this and future projects.
