27 Nov 2009 By Lucas Allen (Web correspondent)
Already a big star with the TV show "In Living Color", Jim Carrey appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson' in 1991. Having appeared on the show before as a stand-up comic, Jim entertains Johnny with his stories about being a struggling young comic before his big success. Jim then talks about his childhood including the time he would entertains his classmates in front of his teacher.
With a harmonica in his mouth, Jim imitates Wile E. Coyote after a bad fall. Jim reenacts the classic "face ripping' scene from Poltergeist with the help of some eerie music from Carson's band. With audience encouragement, Jim puts his jacket over his head while squeezing his nose with it screaming, "Kevin Bacon is Batman." He calls his jacket his church camouflage just to keep a low profile.
He talks about being out with his family now that he is a celebrity including run-ins with different people though has lived a happy life with his family. Jim even mentions having nightmares about teaching his daughter Jane saying different words.
