Jim Carrey in "Yes Man"?

The british film producer David Heyman said to MTV News that he is developing a new comedy with Jim Carrey attached to star and Peyton Reed (The Break-Up, Bring It On) to direct. The movie "Yes Man" is based on the best-selling book of the same title from British comedian and author Danny Wallace.
"It's about a man who finds himself very depressed, and is always saying no. When friends ask him out, he always says no," Heyman said of the script. "[The film will explore] what happens when he decides to say yes to everything that comes his way..."
Heyman insisted the movie would be the old-school Carrey "It's really funny," he grinned. "It's one of the funniest scripts I've read."
Heyman has produced a number of notable films, the best known are the Harry Potter movies.
Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie.
