Carrey in talks to star in the comedy "Me Time"

Good news for all Jim Carrey fans! A new movie might be added to Jim Carrey's upcoming projects. The movie by 20th Century Fox called "Me Time".
Carrey is in talks and would be producing it along with Peter Principato and Paul Young whose company has a first-look deal with Fox. Principato-Young's Allen Fischer is executive producing. The script is written by duo Ian Roberts and Jay Martel.
The story is about a writer penning a book about his great-great-grandmother who was a frontier woman. His pregnant wife has to go on bed rest, leaving him to care for the house and their other child. His confidence is shaken when he reads his ancestor's diary. In her diary she describes raising a family, plowing the fields and taming the wild environs.
Carrey and Jay Martel are repped by CAA, Roberts by Endeavor.
