dumb and dumber one of the greatest movies ever made (in my opinion!)

First off I like to say Welcome to the boards and is great to see another Floridian here.

Secondly, Jim's brand of comedy is wild phsyical kind of comedy. He likes to contort his body into different shapes and does some the impressions of famous people. If you can think of a body/yoga position u can see be done....he can probably do it. As for style in clothing i don't know much about nor his acting style other than improving scenes on the spot.

anyone else anything to add?

I seriously cannot figure out why his movies are popular. Isn't he just loud and uncouth...lol

I think in Dumb and Dumber he acted with his brains as he usually does, and there was a heart too, equally due to Jeff Daniels who anchored their chemistry so well...it is finally a friendship that overcomes all odds, big and small.
The movie has Jim's loud and choppy comic persona as well as sentimental lovelorn candor (take your pick...lol).
Personally I just loved the small bike ride and them freezing to icicles...lol

lol..........yes......all his characters have essentially a good heart and you can't help but warm to them..........and those people who consider him uncouth have not actually sat down and really watched the movies, either that or they have hearts of stone and can't recognise compassion....
