Good News For ESOTSM!

Postby FutureStar1977 » Wed Mar 24, 2004 12:39 am

I posted this post in other areas to make sure it would be seen, so if you feel as though you have read it already, well...you probably have.

Anyway, I was looking up to see how much money ESOTSM actually made this past weekend on Yahoo, this is what I found as well:

Web Favorites
The charts below measure searches and clicks across Yahoo! Movies to determine popularity.

ALL RANKINGS AS OF 03/21/2004

Top Movies
1. Dawn of the Dead
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
3. The Passion of The Christ
4. Taking Lives
5. Secret Window
6. Starsky & Hutch
7. Hidalgo
8. Spartan
9. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
10. Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London

Even though the move only came in 6th at the box office, this shows that people are looking ESOTSM up online and clicking on things for it. So, it is good to know that it is becoming more popular. Maybe word will get around by people who have seen it and it will go farther!

By the way, the movie came in at #6 in the box office, and it made $8,175,198.00 and was only released at 1,353 theaters.

Spread the word about ESOTSM!

Love & Humor,
Marissa
My Jim Site: Jim Carrey Is My Inspiration!

"If you give up on your dreams, what's left?" - Jim Carrey

Sleep-guide.com

For what the movie is I think it's ok. It was never gonna be a blockbuster, not on the number of screens it's showing on anyway.

It's not intended to be a blockbuster. None of Charlie Kaufman's movies are. They're too original and quirky. Blockbusters are more for big budgets and mainstream ideas.
