Ok, so I just saw the commercial for the new thing at Taco Bell...you know, the gooey new crispy grilled thing and I started to salivate. Then I thought of SFS's soapbox and immediately stopped.
Not really. I'm still salivating. That thing looks gooooood. Time for my walk.

Watch "Super Size Me" it's really funny. Morgan Spurlock uses McDonalds as an example, but it's really a documentary about personal responsibilty vs processed foods and the effects they have on overconsumption. I honestly think there is a connection to cancer with all the foriegn substances we fuel our bodies with. Our bodies weren't designed for polyunsaturated fats and sugar-laden sodas.
However they are tasty!

I saw that movie and thought it was great. A lot of people were mad that he picked McDonald's. But let's face it, Mickey D's is the fast food icon of America. What did they say in the movie? That in 4 square blocks in NY there was some ridiculous number of McDonald's. They just make themselves THAT accessible.
And some people use them for breakfast, lunch and dinner....which was never the intent.
But also Dennis Miller had a point in one of his rants. He was talking about fat people suing McDonald's for their condition and he said something like, "You could put an industrial scale in front of the door that LOCKED it so obese people could not enter and they'd sue for breach of access."
The part of Supersize Me that was scary to me was how it is impacting kids. When I was little, we ate everything...broccoli, carrots, lima beans (yuck)...nowadays nutrition seems to be on the back burner and that's scary. I was interested to see that school that introduced better foods and the reduction of violence and problems in the student body.
Oh, and the secret sauce on the Big Mac is Thousand Island Dressing. Ronald can sue me for divulging the secret.

Taco Bell is the only Fast Food restauraunt that should stay in busines!! It's by far the best!! Have you guys ever seen Demolition Man With Stallone and Snipes?>?? That was a funny movie. Taco bell becomes like this big deal High class restauraunt, Because it's the only one that survived the "franchise wars" Anyway I LOVE Taco Bell.

Minus fingers in the chili, I really enjoy Wendy's.

That's how they GIT you. With the appetizing commercials. Then you go there and it looks NOTHING like the thing in the commercial and it has a server's fake fingernail in it.
We have Carlos O'Kelly's here. They have a cheesy crispy thing with chicken on it that is an appetizer, but is enough to eat for a meal.

when i get tempted by the evils of the fast food industry, i like to go to their website under the "nutritional facts" heading (and i use that term loosely). that usually puts the craving to an end.
don't get me wrong i'm not a health nut ... my weakness comes in duplicate letters M&M

Look how a post about Cotton's dad turned into a salivating debate about the evils of fast food.

If Cottons dad is like mine, he would want us to pray for his health but not check out of life and enjoying each other...is that right, Cotton?
My daughter had the new thing at Taco Bell and she said it really WAS very yummy.
