World history in the making

Postby fluffy » Sat Jul 02, 2005 1:22 pm

Live 8 has just started in the UK....this is going to be awesome...HUGE stars....this is history in the making folks.....

i know we are all in different time zones but i thought it might be fun to post up any exciting things we see as the day unfolds.....
I remember Live Aid so well .....madonna- 'gettting into the groove'.......Freddy Mercury captivating the globe and Staus Quo 'rockin all over the world'.and of course U2.....
and who could forget the Cars video....?
85% Of the Globes developed population will have access to some sort of screen apparently and in the UK Johnathan Ross ( a national treasure  ) will be interviewing in his adorably cheeky style....

But let's not forget Why this is happening....There will be footage of the plight throughout the day....Sir Bob Geldolph has pulled off the unbelievable......1 million are expected to descend upon Edinburgh in protest.......and the whole world is watching.....

This will be a momentous week in world history with G8 and L8.....let's share it....

I got to see "Beautiful Day".

And when Bob Geldof pulled out that girl who had had ten minutes to live, that was mindblowing.

i'm so happy :D .i saw the whole concert on TV yesterday.it's really great that the whole world is watching the same thing.i loved Robbie Williams performance (he was fuuny).and i also loved Will Smith's performance specially when he let the audiencs sing Fresh Prince of BellAir.
but i wanna ask did anyne see his name on the list on the screen?
Charades , pop skill , Water hyacinth , named by a poet. Imitation of life.

I looked and saw a Jill once, but I didn't get to see a lot of the concert. When you think about it, each of those names represent all of us that signed up. Man I hope the G8 forgives the debt and they can save more starving people.
