fluffy,
hey, don't feel bad about loving nature. i feel the same way about it. in fact i have a few pagan friends who i've spoken to in depth while seeking "my soul". to me, a tree is far more beautiful than a diamond and watching the waves crash against the rocks knowing that this is caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and the whole "butterfly stirring pollen, which causes the elephant to sneeze which causes, and so on and so on etc. WOW, nature certainly rocks!

in fact, that was one thing that made me start questioning "my religion". i didn't want to go to a heaven that had streets paved in gold! i want fields of daisies, trees, rivers, lakes, puppies, wind, rain - pure nature - however i don't want any snakes in my heaven, the kitties can eat the rats :)

i think God set all this nature in motion with one small collision of atoms (the chaos theory), gave us free-will and is sitting back watching (truman show-like), seeing where we'll take it and stepping in silently now and again individually to help us when we can't seem to go on (whether we know it or not). we can't control that nature thing which to me makes it so awe inspiring.

cool quirky. i know that's a cool feeling.

Cool...I'm not so sure. I'm kind of like "Blaaaaaergh!" walking a razor's edge at the moment trying to determine to get my head and heart right. It's no wonder I wound up in a psych ward. Although I never felt crazy.

I know that God has me in the palm of His hand. I know that Jesus died for my sins (and there HAVE been some of those)...

I feel good, but tested at the same time and it's tiring.

Please, be laid back. Laid back is GOOD.

Yes, basically I picked up my Grandmother's Bible and started reading. At random after asking a question of God. And everytime I do it, the passage makes sense, but it's a mix of old and new testament, so the local pastor is bringing me a study Bible later. I like him a lot. I think he will help me determine what in the world is going on.

But as I said, I belong to Jesus and God has me in the palm of his hand. The Holy Spirit is all around me. And U2 sends me messages in their music. Weird, huh?

Today i like to think i'm bobbing along with my water wings on................letting the tide take me where it wants to........and when i feel safe and comfortable i'll take off the wings and go it alone.....whatever faith that might be..........
But sometimes i do splash about a bit an get spooked by the current.........so i've learned those are the times to 'go with the flow' and relax..............life will take me where it wants.................

but it could all change tommorrow...........

I agree with this. This is kind of me. But I want to be in Heaven someday, so my instructions are in the Bible and in my heart. I just have to trust.

Searching - I live with my grandmother. So, no doggie. I would love to have a dog someday, though.

speaking of heaven, did you see "what dreams may come"? it came out about 7 years ago (robin williams, cuba gooding jr) it had an interesting concept of heaven. heaven is what you want it to be - meaning that everyone's heaven will different and although you may be there with people you love, they may appear different because of what "their" heaven is like. i thought that was interesting. robin william's character "lived" in one of his wife's paintings for awhile. it was a neat concept.

on a different note: i think you need to make this life as close as you can to your own heaven. this is all we have that our little brains can fathom - so enjoy every minute and live it well :)
