Those haircuts looked none too flattering on them when they were young men in their thirties--I can only imagine how hilarious and pathetic they will look with it now that they're in their fifties. Not that they look bad for their age -- but yeah, those haircuts are going to look great on them. I'm looking forward to the inevitable set pics that will leak.

Which character do you suppose will be the one who'll need the new kidney -- Harry or Lloyd? For some reason, I think it will be Harry. Though the Farrellys haven't corroborated who it is, yet.

I think it's going to be Harry also, cause he's the softer person in this movie. Loyld is more ... well, let's say his character is a bit more crazy. And dumb. He's dumber indeed.

It seems as though they are casting (or trying to cast) these well-known young people to appeal to a younger and broader demographic. After all, not many teenagers these days know about Dumb and Dumber . Not like my generation knows it. We know the movie probably will be PG-13, and teenagers are the PG-13's target audience. So why not appeal to a brand-new generation of fans, as well as the original "Dumb and Dumber" fanbase. I can just see the executives at Warner Bros. telling the Farrelly bros., "Cast some young well-knowns as the kids. That'll double, maybe even quadruple ticket sales."

That doesn't bother me one bit. Anything to get the OK of the studio (so long as Jim and Jeff are still onboard). I just hope they hurry up and greenlight this and announce the production date.

Isn't it interesting that this will be Jim Carrey's first sequel since "Nature Calls"? And how long ago was that? Almost twenty years. My, does the time fly!

Hey just think though if one of the newer people from nows generation which i don't like sorry but anyway MAYBE jimmy would hit popularity again. I mean he still is popular but not like he used to be before i was even born. Thats just the way i look at it.

They also included a teaser poster. Well, it's not technically a teaser poster, because it features Harry and Lloyd from the original movie. "Dumb Happens..Again?" The poster asks. It looks like The Farrellys are trying to stir up a bunch of interest in the movie on Twitter, so the studio will see all the attention it's receiving. If any of you have Twitter accounts, I suggest RT'ing the Farrelly brothers posters -- that is, if you are interested in seeing a sequel. The more exposure, the better the chances of the sequel.

Jim Carrey, who’s busy promoting THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE, told Access Hollywood that he’s hoping DUMB AND DUMBER 2 would start filming next year. I hope so too..

“We’re talking about it. Jeff and I are really excited about it and hopefully next year we’ll be able to do that [and] get it together.”

Well, at least they still want to get this made, and they're still hoping to make it. That's a plus. It seems like every year they've been putting this off. I wonder what the hold-up is -- if Jim or Jeff are now committed to separate projects, or what? I'm wondering how they're going to film early next year. Won't Jeff be committed to "Newsroom" again?

Or maybe they still haven't gotten the greenlight yet.

They haven't got the green light y. They are waiting.
But Jeff doesn't shoot the show the entire year so They will find a couple of weeks to shoot it.
It's all a matter of scheduling.
