Allergies

Postby Canadian Jayne » Thu Aug 05, 2004 10:57 pm

Allergies, I have them too, I thought they mostly afflicted the Canadian,
guess not
I once had allergy shots, and had a reaction to shot,
I became aniflaxic and couldn't breathe, it was awful, I had
to go back to the medical clinic to get a needle for the needle I just got.
At that point I gave up allergy shots and just take an antihistamine when I need it.
I sleep with a kleenex tucked in my hand a night.
The milk thing is awful when you get a kinda burning feeling in your
sinuses, ich.
The worst snot is when it's as green as this screen

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH. Who needs kids anyway? Those carts are HELL.

Back when I worked in catering (oh those good old days of dishwashing) I had to push a cart completely filled with plates of Spaghetti meals. I had to walk over a parking lot with lose pathment so the entire cart was constantly shaking dudududududududududududuududud and all the spaghetti on all the plates were dududududududududududud slowly moving towards the sides of the plates. I was pouring fear sweat when I had to go up a bump and everything almost went alright, till I entered the building and it all slide off the plates and dropped over the carpet on the floor.

Quite a day that day. I got fired straight away haha. the first thing miss drillintructor (complete with buzzcut, she could kill a bear with her bare hands, at least looked like it) said when she saw me was "Oh no! Not another new one!!!" And a little later on I went to proceed to prepare a salad, dropping all the garbage from it in what I thought was the garbage bin. Cause there was not that freshlooking salad in it and kitchenpaper. While I was busy doing that, miss drill comes standing next to me and starts preparing more salads, but then with the salad from the "trash bin". I went F uu uuu uuuu uuu uuuUuuuUUUUUUUUK inside, she didn't mention a thing. Yet.The spaghetti experience happened later that day hahahah. It's the shortest lived job I've ever had.

Oh! haha and a couple of weeks ago I missed a tiny fight of stairs going up a ridiculously dark stairway and fell FLATTTT on my face. Wondering for minutes what the hell happened between walking up straight and gazing at the black floor with the skin right below my knees ripped.

Hey Cableclair it could have been worse. You could've farted when you fell down the stairs. Now That really would have been embarrassing.lol

Just a few weeks ago I was watching The price is right and when they called some girls name she fell down the stairs trying to get to the podium. And many years ago I was watching The Miss America pagent and a girl in a fancy gown fell down a flight of stairs and her dress went up over her head and some guys had to help her up. Needless to say that she didn't win. But it was a riot.

I was eating class at school once, and the teacher was glaring at me. I was trying to be discreet, when I started laughing hysterically, but was still as silent as possible. I ended up choking, and a crisp (chip in america etc :P) i was eating flew straight out my nose! painful, and disgusting!

and oh yes, i fell down the 2, yes 2, stairs in the office at my old workplace! no one saw me, happy to say, but as i fell, i started running, and i ended up actually fall by the entrance! i got up and burst out laughing!!!

the funniest injury i've ever had is when i was at work, and i was talking about a 'cute' member of staff, only to turn and realise he was standing quite close to me! i ran in the opposite direction, but as i turned a corner, i slipped and smashed my knee on a shelf! it hurt, but every member of staff erupted into a roar of laughter! worst thing was, i had to go tell the person i'd been talking about what i'd done... it isn't easy making something up on the spot!

I know the feeling JT, a great antihistamine for me is Eltor 120, but there
are precautions so each person with allergies is different.
Ewwww! Shrimp and chips us de nose, I think that takes the cake over
the milk.
Why is it when we try to impress someone, it doesn't always go as planned.
