I need to know how he talks to you, how he looks at you etc when you talk to him, that way I can tell you if he wants you to get lost or if he's intrigued

he treated me like a fan, not like "juliette" I said to him "can I give you a letter but I want YOU to hold it, not Linda" and he said "I don't think I should do that" so I said "ok" and as I walked away I said "I'll just give it to you later" oh and before that I whispered something in his ear too and he was shocked by that, but I can't say what it was..

I think the problem here between you two is that he feels intimidated by you. He doesn't know if he can trust you. The problem is obviously that you don't have the means to talk to him like a friend. If you for some reason got the opportunity to meet him in a more "secure" envoirment (like the set of bruce almighty) things would clear up intensly.

He needs to first feel secure with you, because if he doesn't he'll build up resistance, and resistance is the number one romance/friendship killer

Was he shocked because of what you whispered in his ear? If so maybe that is good. Maybe from now on he will remember you. Did you ever get his autograph or did he say no again? Am I starting to sound like the press? I will shut up now.lol

He's a public figure, everywhere he goes people wants something from him "Jim do this interview, Jim do this, Jim your autograph jadadadadada" every minute of the day. How do you deal with this? You put up a shield. Every person with a responsible position does this. This shield is his protection, he uses it to feel safe. You cannot show your true self to people all the time. Opening up and putting your shield aside is reserved for three entities if you will; Friends, Family, Lovers. Because we trust them. Since you're not a friend or family or his lover there is not reason why he should feel that he trusts you. Not to mention the fact that Carrey seems to be a pretty paranoid person, I would say he not only has a shield but an armour

yes, he was shocked, I'd tell you what I said but I have to PM it cuz I don't want it posted all over the net, but yes, he was shocked by it, he's probably thinking about it now LOL no autographs, didn't want one, no pics, didn't want one in that surrounding (with other fans around) anyway I gotta actually go to brentwood now to deliver some money to someone *coughs* so I'll be back later, keep replying tho

yea, that's true sleeves, I get what you mean now, so yea, I'd probably be the same way, I kinda am when I'm in public or on the set of a movie or something, I'm pretty secretive except to people I know, so yes, I understand, that's why I hate going to these things, I want to see him in a calm environment and be able to talk to him without him thinking I just want something out of him

I think what Sleeves wrote is right... he's a secretive man anyway, he holds his private life very close to his chest. I think Jim would be a hard guy to break into that inner sanctum with. I don't think he has anything against you JT, I really don't. He's probably that way with everyone he doesn't know extremely well. I wouldn't get too upset about it, really I wouldn't.
