Jim, who has previously starred in Dr Seuss tale The Grinch, joked to reporters that he couldn't remember his favourite Dr Seuss lines: "I will not do those rhymes in a box, I will not do them with a fox, I will not do them here or there, I will not do them anywhere."

However, the actor did confess to loving playing Horton the elephant: "It's very freeing. I felt a little self conscious when I was shopping - I didn't get a lot of attention that normal thin people get."

My daughter's review is..

Postby Canadian Jayne » Tue Mar 25, 2008 12:44 am

Pretty good, pretty funny.
One part that most mothers wouldn't like.
I'll have to see it then I'll explain.
Good humour. Worth seeing! Absolutely gotta see!

Par Excellent! Loved the Diving & Synchro, graphics were reaaaaaly great, beautiful colors and artwork, enjoyed Japanese Anime.
Storyline terrific, well written,
The part my daughter didn't like was the idea that the Kangaroo would even consider giving her child away. That part would irk most mothers.
I know sometimes moms get tired, but definitely not so tired that they would give them away. Sometimes all a mom needs is a break.
Message is very applicable to todays circumstances, gives warm woolies.
Job very very well done by cast, crew, writers, music, all terrific.
Voices were very well fit to the Animals.
Admitedly I was a little sceptical on Jim playing such a big animal but it really did work and I couldn't imagine itnow, any other way.
Loved the Hot Pink!
Of course I had to get the Popcorn bucket & cup, perfect for a day at the beach, hm maybe even a Beach BBQ

This is a movie well worth seeing and even buying for your Classics Collection. I already plan to see it again, BB & I. There really is so much to see that I've forgotten some and want to go back and review.
