Impress Jim

Postby cotton » Mon Jul 21, 2003 2:01 am

I hope I'm not repeating anybody elses topic. I was just wondering. If you could take Jim on a date what would you do or say to impress him. I thought singing the song we're all alone by Rita Coolidge would be good but then I thought of 2 horrifying things:

1: I stink at singing
2: This song probably gives him nightmares as it is(clubmed)

while you girls post your ideas I will have think some more.

Yummy Yummy Yummy - Ohio Express

I think that since he loves animals that I'd introduce him to my pets and then we'd have a long talk about Pets and what kinds of dogs there are and cats, since I did co-op in a grooming salon I'd show him how to groom his dogs, I would also show him Sherway Shopping Mall in Toronto and if he loves to shop which I bet he does, we'd both be shopping til we drop

I would let him see my poems and the short stories that I have. I hope he would offer me suggestions, and we would discuss other things to write about.
I would introduce him to my dog, Shasta, and cat, Zack. They are sweet and friendly and would love him instantly.
I would take him for a ride on my scooter (handicapped-three wheel) to show him the sites of Glendora, California. I would also let him drive-it might be a new experience for him, but I'm sure that he would be interested. I'm sure that we would ride so far that when we get back to my house I would have to plug it in for a recharge.
We would also talk about Ataxia (the neurological disorder that I have), and I would let him read the literature on it that I have. I'm sure he would be interested. He is such a smart guy that he would quickly learn all there is to know about Ataxia.

I think I posted something like this about 10thousand years ago... no harm in refreshing the subject though.

Hmm, he'd just have to look at me to be impressed! *lol* Na, not at all. He'd probably look at me and run. I'm... facially challenged!

I'd probably sing All That Jazz and whack in some of my dance moves to it. Probably do a bit of acting... actually, I should've invited him to see me in Guys And Dolls! Hahaha. I'm sure he would've been well impressed watching me stacking it up the ramps coz my character shoes have no soles. *giggling* Ah fun times. Fun times.
Urm, if I could, I'd invite him to one of my horse shows I do around... this time of year. Another way of impressing him, as my horse gallops off into the distance with me.
Uh... what else would I do? Attempt to show him my non-existant driving skills, whilst nicking Daddy's car.
I'd quickly open my bedroom door, then shut it again, so he could have a glimpse of himself on the walls.
Then I'd whip his arse at pool. On his own pool table! *laughs evilly* For the mere reason, that I can.
Well, maybe not HIS pool table... use the one in my pub.
I can't do it. I have an appointment. Urm... dentist... yeah!

I finally have an idea. I would take him to the best grilled cheese sandwich restaurant (yummy!). Since we both love music I would also take him to a concert. We could talk about our favorite songs and movies and like Andrea said I would try to stay calm and be myself which would be hard to do if my stomach is in knots. Then I would go home and faint.

Now if someone could get him to read these messages maybe he will take us up on our offers?
Yeah right!

Edited by: cotton at: 7/25/03 4:19 pm

I'd Be Shy at First but Then Start Talking to him About What Kind of Sports He Likes Then Ask Him if he'd like to Go Skiing in Aspen (Colorado, That is) or just Visit Aspen seeing the last time he was there was to Film "Dumb & Dumber". We'd Start Talking About Pets and our Favorite Foods while up in Aspen, Who Knows We'd Probly Bump into Tom Cruise & Penelope Cruiz Or Don Johnson & his Wife (They Both Have Cabins In Aspen) That'd Be Cool Too. *giggles*

I'd also Tell him That He's my lifesaver and Tell him why.
-----------------
"Bruce Giveth & Bruce Taketh.
