For the last two years
Some have been studying
The Bible at home, church, with
Friends and family
After studying Old and New Testament

This year I'm studying the Book of Mormon
It tells of a family that left Jerusalem
To escape war that was brewing
Before people were captured
During the time of King Zedekiah
ABT 600 B.C.
In the beginning of the book

But what is most fascinating is
How it describes the future

Events of the children of
The escapees from Jerusalem

It describes the wars that
Almost destroy this
Family
How God intervenes by dreams,
Visions, angels, voice and instrumentations(better than a cell phone)
They were smarter than some think
Back then

As wars increase in Europe,
Asia and anywhere else
Even
Spy balloons hovering over
Our heads
All could be affected
Food + Water + Communication
Heat+medical access etc
Numerous things could happen
Realistically, if I had to
Leave everything,could I do
It? Not sure!
I ask myself this often

I kind of think of the
Book of Mormon as a
Survival Manual
Spiritually and Temporally

Revelation and Daniel in the Bible is
Sometimes difficult to
Understand

The Book of Mormon seems
Much simpler to apply and
Relate to

There is so much sadness
And suffering when war
Happens
If only
It could be avoided
I wish!
But history continues to
Repeat itself
Sadly
People want more stuff..
The moon, mars, precious metals
More, more,more
And we don't
Even take
Care of what we have

I'm not immune from this
More mind

We get conditioned
To thinking
Different is better
But
What could be the
Cost to the lives of the
People of this planet
If we pursue things that could
Destroy our freedom in so many ways
But
People cannot stand idle and
Continue to be bullied either
