Actually a funny thing happened
At the beach a few weeks ago
I was with one of my children
And the grandkids
Kids were off with parents
Who met up with other
Relatives who they
Had not seen due to COVID
So there I was chills in in the water
I always carry a whistle even
When I’m in the water
I was bobbin on my floater ring
Soakin in sun
Suddenly
I see...,,,,,

Some kid rummaging Thru my stuff
I flounder on the floaty

Wondering who would
Have the audacity
To b so bold

Finally seize the whistle
Blow it
Mild squeak comes out
So I yell
Swim. For shore
Just get 1/2 way in
And realize
It was..,,,.

One of my grandkids
Looking for snacks
Which they
Know
I always have
Still believe in
“Always be prepared”

I’m laughing as I come out of
The water thinking
Maybe I need to get my eyes checked
I definitely don’t like getting old

get printed
Only About 12 around in the Universe

Then I said

I found the book
And
Showed it
One child said about the centrefold ship ”WOW”
