Federer vs Agassi

Postby quirky » Sun Sep 11, 2005 10:02 pm

So far they have only mentioned Agassi's age four times today.

Yesterday they did it about 20 times. LIKE 35 IS OLD!!!!

It's NOT old!

Bah!
Should I buy a walker or something?

Apparently yes in the tennis world. Mary Pierce also qualifies for this distinction, being a veteran of 17 years..... at the old age of 30.

I think it's because tennis players reach their peak physically at around 25 years.... after that it's all downhill yo

That's cool folks..............we're in our primes ...............(lol.............sounding dangerously like Miss Jean Brodie..........lol)..........

All these 20 something girls don't know they're born yet.............the flirty 30's are sooooo much better..............
(I know i've said this before but Quirky needs reminding............lol...........)

We're independent, smart, funny and HOT!!!..............LOL........in my 20's i was scared witless of everything...........in my 30's i'm a completely different beast altogether..............i'm not intimidated by anyone and i can hold my own in any company..............i would have been too shy in my 20's.......................
And i'm actually better looking in my 30's than my 20's i reckon......i guess i've discovered my own style at last..............lol.........................

nope..............i wouldn't be a 20 something again.......the 30's are definately sexier, funnier and altogether better............................

I dunno...

No one's interested in a 35 year-old. When I was younger I was clueless.

I agree with Fluffy...I was stupid and naive in my 20's...(of course I was thin then too)

Hell naive ain't all that bad..................
i'm still a bit green around the gills and to be honest i wouldn't want it any other way..............lol

Friends and colleagues sometimes have a giggle at me because i'm like a little kid when it comes to things i love..............
such as Snow and Xmas and fireworks and animals..........but they laugh with me not at me........because deep down they are just the same..........
but somehow as you get older and more reponsible it becomes uncool to look at life through the eyes of wonder that you had as a little kid......................

i hope i never lose that..........i don't intend to....................

Give the Lassie a hand =D>
I truly agree with you. Sometimes we need to continue to look at life through the eyes of a child.
I saw BNL yesterday in concert, but I just didn't see them, I also saw
the dragonflies, the butterflies and the special moon effects BNL had so labouriously ordered.

Ah. I was rooting for Agassi. I had to stop doing my happy dance, but it was a good match.

I was extremely disapointed when he lost though :( I just knew he was going to win.
