i can't pick just one - i really need to come into a lot of money so i can just travel - i have severe wanderlust!

like quirky, i loved norway - absolutely beautiful! water, mountains, everything so clean and pristine.

tuscany and florence were so wonderful too. the endless grapes, the great architecture and the food - WOW.

i also LOVED scotland - i swear i will go back there whenever i can. i loved everything about it but that accent makes me melt!

maui, jamaica and the mexican riviera are all great. i love the ocean. it is so calming and powerful at the same time.

germany and austria were very historic and gorgeous.

i loved london. never thought i would but there was just such a regal quality about the city. a feeling you don't get in US cities.

i have been all over the US and i guess i really take that for granted because there are so many wonderful places here. i go to southern california several times a year to see family. couer d'alene, a lake resort town in northern idaho is one of the most beautiful relatively unknown places in the world. i go to west virginia to ski and it's such a diverse drive through small backroad country highways then rolling into an aspen-like resort but on top of the mountains- the views are amazing.

ok - i've rambled enough and should really get my head back into my work but now all i want to do is GO, GO, GO! :)

My favorite place is everywhere I go...

Postby Canadian Jayne » Tue Oct 04, 2005 6:03 pm

My fiance says "everywhere we go is you're favorite spot"
it's like my favorite song:
When I hear a song I reeeaaaally like I say
"Turn it up, I have to hear my favorite song" then he replies
their all your favorite songs, then I say "I know, turn it up please"
He just rolls his eyes

My father set me up for the "bella bella" thing in Florence once. He knew the Italian guys were rather forward and I didn't.

So he and mom stopped and let me walk ahead of them on a street. When I finally turned around they were a block behind me and Dad was laughing hysterically.

Italian men are.....um.......very animated.

And moreso if you're BLONDE.

I dunno what that's about. You'd think they'd never seen a blonde before.

It's so bizarre.

it's the pale skin and blonde hair and light eyes...........Italian women naturally are the opposite......
One of My folks Italian friends explained that when you are blonde and pale Italians see you as something out of classical art........like the Madonna .....................i don't know if that's true but it might explain it a bit................

I'm not buying it.

I think they just want to rationalize their ogling and fondling.

Many northern Italians are blonde.

from your earlier reply fluffy: lol..............is it Euan macgregors accent that you liike??.........lol.........

actually accent-wise, it was the B&B owners in stirling that stole my heart.
everything was "wee" to the husband. he once met the queen "she was just a wee thing" and he met mel gibson when filming braveheart and he also was "just a wee man - only came up to here (as salutes his chest)" his wife was equally as charming and full of stories "ooooohhh, elvis was the first one who was soooo sexy" things just sound better with a scottish accent LOL
scottish celebrity-wise - i do love sean connery and billy connolly  [/quote]

lol...........gosh yes..............i say wee all the time..........and Mel Gibson is a wee man..........lol...........

he peed against a wall outside a nightclub in Aberdeen rather than use the loos there...........the police caught him.........and they just laughed...........
(probably because they were amazed at how wee he is.....lol  )

What exactly was wee?

All he wanted was a wee wee wee.
