All 4 o fmy wisdom teeth were impacted and I was put out for the extraction.. when I woke up I kept telling the dentist he looked like Pete Rose.. the pain medicine made me sick and I threw up and ripped out the stitches.. After a week I was still in pain ..I was in college at the time and my face was so swollen my prof. did not recognize me

Just make sure you follow ALL the post-op instructions....because a dry socket can make a grown man cry. I know because my brother got one....and he cried.

I've been lucky enough to avoid sucking out the blood clots. . . A dry socket *wince* Painful.
