SCARED...WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN?...FRIEND COULD BE IN DANGER?

How I ended up meeting the Jim look alike is I would watch out for BB
that when she dated someone I would check the guy out to make sure
all was OK, that's why I don't go on the internet looking for someone,
I"M very pessemistic. So she made the comment that this guy she met looks alot like Jim Carrey, but I also wanted to make sure she was
SAFE and I was curious about the guy.
So all was well at the restaurant and I felt the guy was OK.
BUT TODAY
BB's ex is very volatile and weird. He is now in town, which is and unusual occurance since he lives far away (another province)
and I'm concerned for her safety, I'm not there.
WHAT DOES A FRIEND DO?
Please, I need some ideas, I'm very concerned.
