Jim Carrey: Gang members impersonate me

“I don’t generally like to perform in front of people, but it’s not annoying,” he said in an interview with British television show Daybreak. “You know, I love love. I am lucky enough to have stumbled into something in my life that can turn the most hardened face into a child when I see people. I have gang members come up to me and do impressions of my movies and it turns them into children. So, you know, ‘Somebody stop me!’”

“They really are funny, they are a no-lose situation,” he explained. “You know, you could stick penguins in a room and they would be entertaining on their own, but hopefully the double bill gives it that extra whammy.”
