Doing Time on Maple DriveHi, all!

I just saw "The Majestic" on video, and was so moved by Jim's BRILLIANT performance, it made me want to see "Doing Time on Maple Drive." Does anyone know of an online vendor that sells this movie, or if FOX has any plans to air it again some time in the near future? That'd be really cool, not just because I'm DYING to see it, but also since Jim is a big star now.

Speaking of "The Majestic," it's my very favorite movie, and he and Laurie Holden were great in it. I hope he is offered similar parts in the near future, because he WAS Peter/Luke for me, and was just about as fully immersed in the "Jimmy Stewart" persona as you can get!

All I can say is, the performance he gave--not to mention the movie itself!--was Oscar caliber and then some!!!!!!!

TTYS,

-Dawn

One more thing.......Oh, yeah, and is this Jim's official website???? Sorry--it's my first time here!

Just Curious,

-Dawn

Re: One more thing.......Hi Dawn.

Welcome to the board. Jim doesn't have an official site -- this is the probably the closest you'll find to one.

Doing Time on Maple Drive was never officially released on home video, but sometimes you can find the bootleg version called "Faces in the Mirror". Its the same film with a few minutes of Jim's early standup routines on it. Check ebay for it.

It does show up on TV occasionally -- usually on Lifetime of Fox Move channel.
