Re: Liar Liar
It influenced you to become a lawyer? That's interesting. If anything, I'd be influenced to call my Science teacher a "pedantic, pontificating, pretentious bastard, a beligerent old fart, a worthless steaming pile of cow dung! [Figurtively speaking]", just to see if he would laugh... "Seeya later, dickhead!"
i WOULD attemp that quote to someone, but i forget bits of it! lol!

I also love "Liar Liar" and I also found the job as a lawyer more sympathic after having seen this movie. But since I had an insight view for two weeks in this job I would not become lawyer because it is imho a boring job.
I'm qì, my friend.
The first time I saw it, it was incredibly stupid. Now I really think it is hysterical.
But, is it me or is the costuming too distractive? Watch it again: Everyone is in brown, gray, black, tan. Not one person has color - it's so dull. (Now compare that to Dumb and Dumber and ESOTSM - which have lots of color - and there's more to respond to. The visuals are more enjoyable in those movies). Does this make any sense??
I've noticed that too, but I think the reason all the colors are dull is one, they're in court, court is dull, I've been to court quite a few times and it's boring as heck, but two, the color comes from the comedy, not the clothing, and I think that's why the movie seems very colorful even though it's not. does that make sense?

Okay, I can respect that the dialogue and physical antics add 'color' to the movie. That's a cool way to look at it. But, I've served on a Grand Jury. Let me tell you, there is Nothing boring about that kind of jury duty service. In fact, it's fascinating! Then again, I'm a Night Court (t.v. show) fan, so I'm a little biased.
I used to watch Night Court when I was around 3-5 years old LOL I've never done Jury Duty, but I've had to go to court for various reasons, different cases that I was apart of, I was very young though, I had to get on the witness stand, kinda hard to do when you're 10 and don't really know what's going on anyway, but yea, court always seemed boring to me
