Cameron said no to Jim Carrey!

Postby jimliker » Sun May 18, 2008 3:52 pm

Cameron admits that her male co-stars have a tendency to get all hot under the collar when she’s around. She reveals, “A lot of the actors I’ve worked with get, like a crush on me. They want to get romantic.” She includes Mask co-star Jim Carrey, whose invitation for a date she politely declined, in that number. Although he remained civil, the warmth was gone from their relationship and she hasn’t heard a word from him since. Ouch!

She was also his date to the Golden Globes a few years later(when he won for the Truman Show), so that "hasn’t heard a word from him since" bit is a bunch of garbage too.

I think I'd push him in then......

Postby Canadian Jayne » Tue May 20, 2008 6:49 pm

Run away, down the beach, up to the refreshment stand, across the road, over to the miniature golf course, hoping that would distract him since he likes golf, through the park, over the bridge, through the ladies washroom ,out to the pool, duck in between the bushes if he's still running after me to get me back, up the diving board, into the water to the shore into the boat, back to the beach.

But 10 to one, since he has much longer legs than I do, I'd probably get as far as a few metres down the beach and get thrown into the water.
Se la vie!

Isn't it great to be able to imagine something and not have to step two feet from the console!
