Jim Carrey discussion on non-movie related topics or topics which doesn't fit anywhere else...
by KC8t80 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 5:18 am
One night I was by myself at home when I decided to go see A Series of Unfortunate Events during opening weekend. So I go to the theater by BART train (a transit train in California) and buy my tickets early at the box office and went to go get something to eat inside a mall by theater. After walking around I find out that the movie was about to start so I ran back to the theater and to screen #6 (where I was going to see it). when get into the theater a watch the previews I keep thinking that I am in the wrong screening room. So once the movie started I see an animated elf on screen and I ws getting ready to leave thinking I walked into the wrong movie. Then my mind was put to ease when the whole animated elf thing stopped and I heard Jude Law's vioce narrating the movie. So after watching the I started to laugh at what just happened. The whole elf thing really through me off.
Has that ever happend to anyone before? Any movie?

i thought I walked into the wrong movie theater when the elf toon thing came on. I was like "crap. oh well, i guess i'll just see if this thing has any puns in it." then i heard the whole Jude Law speech, and I was like "oh yeah. something like this was in the book!"
So yeah, i'm stupid.

Except the director was taking the piss out of my favorite holiday cartoons.

son of "dirty Harry"
wouldn't it be neat to have Clint Eastwood and Jim in a movie together,
that would be very interesting
