hmmmm!seriously guys i thought we all loved this man, thru thick and thin i dont find Jim imberassing at ALL!! i love the guy and whatever funny thing he does i will laugh i wont turn off the tv and say Oh Brother How Imbarassing, i woudnt say that cuz jims a funny guy and doesnt care about if other people are saying, thats pretty imbarassing, like in the book i read about Jim it said that the movie critics critized ace 1 an it was a HUGE hit at the box office and having the critics say that just made Jim want to keep doing funny jokes! well thats my opinion!
melissa

Re: Hmi think this is a old topic but it's sad to be embarrassed of Jim and to be a fan of Jim. my family is embarrassed of him and he's the coolest guy i know of. i love him and i appreciate his comedy and all that. if you don't like what he does i mean you should ditch him all together because you know you're not a true fan. i'd back him if he did a crime. i am not embarrassed of Jim or the things he does. if he does do something i laugh and say "oh man how embarrassing" but i don't look down or change the channel or turn away. and the Me, Myself & Irene thing, people need to understand why his character did that. his character was fed up with his neighbor letting the dog loose and crapping on his character's lawn. i'd do the exact same thing if i had to clean up someone else's poop. i'd go over, into their house, and probably take a @#%$ on their head. i'm not kidding either. that stuff gets tiring. so just remember how YOU feel when someone poops on your lawn. later!

Peggy

ReI think most of the people here get the "embarrassed thing" wrong. It's not like feeling actually embarrassed OF him. It's more like feeling weird seeing him doing some things, feeling uncomfortable about that. Not coz you can't stand it but coz of being concerned maybe about himself, his "image". And I think THAT'S a real "fan's" problem, feeling concerned.
And of course we all back him in everything he does, but you can't just find EVERYTHING absolutely great. That's being honest. No real "fan" should be uncritical about Jim. No one should be uncritical about anyone.

However, I tried to explain that on page #1 and I think Claar explained it great, too!

So, calm down girls!

Re: Are you sometimes embarrassed of Jim?well I am sometimes, but not always. he CAN go over the top and I'm pulling a weird face and sighing "Jim..." but the rest of the time, he's ace!

Edited by: Jemma Luvz Jim at: 6/22/03 8:23 pm
